    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    Advanced Beginner: Stitching around the letters makes this not strictly a first-timer's kit, so we're going to give it an Advanced Beginner and above rating.

    NB: The design is on 18 holes to the inch canvas which some people find hard to see. We have designs on larger holes here.

    Finishing Ideas

    Frame this in our beautiful oak frame. We also have black and white frame options. Or source your own frame. If you want affordable and convenient custom framing, we have had success with www.framebridge.com (not an endorsement; just letting ya know).

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need a pair of 7-inch and a pair of 9-inch stretcher bars, and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
