Is This Kit Right For Me?

This is an intermediate-level kit due to the small areas involved that need interpreting by the stitcher.

Finishing Ideas

Finish this in one of our black leather ornament holders, or wooden frames. See the Optional Add-Ons below.

Have it professionally finished as a hanging ornament (find finishers on Etsy or through your Local Needlepoint Store).

What Else Do I Need?

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional:

  • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
  • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
  • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
