What's in the Kit:

  • Canvas: The accurately printed design measures 5" x 5" on 18-count mono needlepoint canvas (we have taped the edges for you).
  • Premium Threads: Pepperpot Silk and Essentials wool/silk blend threads, one skein of DMC floss
  • Needles: two Bohin stainless steel size 22 needles
  • Instructions: Basic how-to needlepoint instructions are included. We added a few decorative stitches to our model, and you can find the stitch guide here. A stitch guide summary is included in the brochure that comes with the kit.
  • Project Bag: A handy zippered project bag, so you can transport this relaxation device directly to your suitcase or stitching chair!

    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    This is an Intermediate level kit, recommended for stitchers who have completed easier designs and are familiar with stitching smaller areas and making stitch placement decisions.

    Finishing Ideas

    Frame it in one of our premium oak white-washed 5" x 5" frames, or source one of your own.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional:

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
