  • Canvas: An accurately color-printed  5" x 5" design on 18 holes-to-the-inch mono needlepoint canvas
  • Premium Threads: A fun mix of threads: Pepperpot Silk and Essentials merino/mohair blend. All of these threads are used single-ply (just as they come, so it's super-easy).
  • Instructions: How-to-needlepoint instructions are included with instructions for a basic needlepoint stitch and two optional others

Is This Kit Right For Me?

Suitable for a beginner, especially if you want to learn more than the basic needlepoint stitch in the same kit.

If you are looking for designs on a larger mesh you can find them here. (Larger mesh canvases aren't necessarily easier to stitch they are just easier to see!)

Finishing Ideas

Frame it in one of our premium oak white-washed 5" x 5" frames, or source one of your own.

What Else Do I Need?

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional:

  • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
  • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
  • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
