The design area is 5" x 5" and is a lovely small project for a beginner, or anyone wanting to try decorative stitches.
The cut canvas is 8" x 8" so if you want to stitch with your canvas on a frame order two pairs of 8" stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
This beginner needlepoint kit comes with lovely Planet Earth wool yarns. These popular threads are single-ply (you use them just as they come) and easy to stitch with.
