Mouse King Needlepoint Christmas Ornament Kit

Intermediate: Ideal for stitchers who have completed a few projects and feel comfortable with the basics. These kits introduce more detail, a broader range of stitches, and longer stitch time, offering a rewarding challenge while still being enjoyable and achievable.

NB: This isn't a beginner kit, so we haven't included basic needlepoint instructions, but they are available upon request.

NB: Finishing materials are not included.

Options for finishing include:

• Self-finish the ornament in our leather ornament holder. We have red and black options.
• Self-finish in one of our wooden ornament frames (two styles; three colors)
• Make it into an ornament by following one of the many videos on Youtube (search "how to finish a needlepoint ornament").
• Find a professional finisher. Etsy is a good place for this.

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional:

• If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order TWO PAIRS of 8-inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
• Needle threaders help thread your needle.
• A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
