Orange Beginner Needlepoint Kit

Perfect if you are new to needlepoint or looking for an easy, enjoyable project. These kits feature simple designs, clear guidance, and approachable stitching that allows you to relax and learn as you go. A great place to start if you want a satisfying finish without a steep learning curve.

You can frame this fun design in one of our 4" x 4" frames (or one of your own). Please note that most 4" x 4" frames (including ours) have a mat opening that is 3.5" x 3.5"—so some of your stitching will be covered if you stitch the entire design.

You can probably find a 4" x 4" frame that doesn't have a mat, or you can use a framing service such as Framebridge.

You can also stitch a little more background and use a 5" x 5" frame with a 4.5" x 4.5" opening.

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional:

• If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need two pairs of 8-inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
• Needle threaders help thread your needle.
• A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
