Christmas Robin Needlepoint Ornament Kit

The perfect challenge for an intermediate-level stitcher and above. We've included some fun stitches, and you can also apply your own ideas.

NB: Finishing materials are not included.

Options for finishing include:

• Self-finish in one of our wooden ornament frames (two styles; three colors). See the white round and black square in the images.
• Self-finish in one of our leather ornament holders, available in red (shown in images) and black.
• Make it into an ornament by following one of the many videos on Youtube (search "how to finish a needlepoint ornament").
• Find a professional finisher. Etsy is a good place for this.

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

• If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need two pairs of 8-inch stretcher bars, and some thumbtacks.
• Needle threaders help thread your needle.
• A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
