Product Details
The Strawberry Thief is one of William Morris's most popular textile designs. The "thief" is a thrush that stole fruit from his garden.
The original textile (1883) can be viewed in the V&A Museum, London.
NEEDLEPOINT KIT DETAILS:
- The design measures 4" in diameter on 18 holes to the inch mono needlepoint canvas.
- Also included: Pepperpot Silk threads, two needles, a color card of the stitched design, a stitch chart, and a project bag.
- How To Needlepoint instructions are not included but are available upon request.
- The cut canvas is 8" x 8" so this is the size of stretcher bars you will need. Make sure you order TWO PAIRS, and some thumbtacks.
- Self-finish with a leather needlepoint holder.
SKILL LEVEL: This is not a beginner kit. Previous stitching experience is probably required to navigate and enjoy all the detail in this design.
