Meet Brenda

Brenda, the heart behind Poppy Monk, discovered needlepoint after moving from New Zealand to California and looking for a little calm in the chaos of new motherhood. Inspired by the beauty of hand-painted canvases, but frustrated by how hard it was to get started. She had an idea: create modern, joy-filled kits that make needlepoint easy and approachable for everyone.

Now designing from her colorful studio in North Carolina, Brenda pours her love of color, pattern, and peaceful stitching into every kit. What started as a personal passion has grown into a creative community, and she’s so glad you’re here.
