How to Self-Finish a Needlepoint Luggage Tag
Finish your needlepoint luggage tag in a few steps.
Measuring is the most important step:
Before cutting the canvas, measure your stitched piece against the luggage tag opening to confirm you've stitched enough rows. Depending on your tension, you may need to add one more row on some or all sides.
Stitch just enough to fill the opening — don't go past the top-stitching line on the luggage tag, or the canvas won't fit. Since everyone's tension is slightly different, measure both the opening and your stitched canvas before cutting, even though we've printed the size as accurately as possible.
