Needlepoint Stitch Guide for The Bakery

We have tried something quite different with this charming Parisian-influenced Bakery needlepoint design.

Different, how? We left key areas of the canvas "open" (unstitched). This adds depth and texture to the design and it allows the lovely detail to shine. If you would rather stitch this detail we have provided a skein of DMC floss that you can strand for this purpose.

Bike Chain Guard - Mosaic stitch

Cobblestones - Milanese stitch

Bakery columns - Brick stitch both horizontal and vertical

Bakery Columns & Cloud - Gobelin stitch horizontal and vertical

Bakery front - Satin Stitch

Flowers - French knots

Spokes - Long stitches
