  • Stitch the design in any order you like.
  • The threads are used as a single strand, just as they come.

Sky—Elongated Cashmere

This can be a tricky stitch to get the hang of and to compensate. We recommend starting at the top left and getting the pattern established. You can fill any gaps in at the end.

Darkest Purple Cliffs—Vertical Double Brick

A nice easy stitch over two intersections. You may have cotton floss in your kit for this area (it was the best color match). Use all 6 plies.

Mid and Pale Purple Cliffs—Vertical Giant Brick

Stitch the mid purple area and then the paler purple. Don't compensate the stitches where the color changes i.e. stitch a full stitch even if the painted area of the canvas might indicate you should shorten it. This will give you the smoothest transition.

For the stag horns we used Back stitches that follow the curves.

All the other stitches are Tent stitches.
