Stitch Guide for Preppy Staffordshire Dog Needlepoint

We kept this needlepoint stitch guide simple but added just enough decorative stitch pizazz to enhance the lovely subtle colors in this popular Staffordshire Dog design.

Floor—Brick stitch (horizontal). Diagram is in our Stitch Library.

We used a single ply of the 6-ply cotton floss to surface embroider a Back stitch for some outlines and details.

All the other stitches are Tent stitches.
