Guide: A color card of the design is included with the kit and contains a diagram of the Upright Cross stitch used on the border.

Needles: Two size 22 Bohin needles (the best)

    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    This is a great project for an intermediate-level stitcher. There is shading in the flowers that requires stitch placement decisions and some experience with this is advised.

    The design is on 18 holes to the inch canvas. Projects on larger mesh can be found here.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional:

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars, or an 8" x 8" Steady Stitch frame, and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
