What's In The Kit:

  • Canvas: Accurately color-printed 5" x 5" design on 18-count canvas with edges taped.
  • Premium Threads: The kit comes with lustrous Pepperpot Silk threads, used single-ply (just as they come) for smooth, even stitches. Also included are metallic threads for some strategically placed "love-sparkle" (if you follow our stitch guide).
  • Needles: Two Bohin stainless steel size 22 needles.
  • Guide: A color card with stitch guide.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional:

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
