This festive snowflake can be stitched and finished in a weekend. It fits nicely in our hanging ornament (sold separately), for a quick self-finishing project.

What's In The Kit:

  • Canvas: An edge-taped 18 count mono canvas with the 3" x 3" snowflake design professionally color-printed.
  • Premium Threads: Gorgeous Pepperpot Silk and sparkling Fyre Werks gold threads. These lustrous fibers are used as a single strand for easy stitching.
  • Needles: Two Bohin (made in France) stainless steel size 22 needles.
  • Stitch Guide: How to needlepoint instructions as well as a stitch guide for the optional background stitch we used on the model.
  • Project Bag: A re-useable zippered Poppy Monk project bag

    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    This is a great all-in-one kit for a beginner stitcher and above. If you add the hanging ornament you have a great gift, stitched or unstitched.

    Finishing Ideas

    Order a self-finishing hanging ornament in cream (sold separately; see add-ons below) and self-finish this to hang on the tree or a doorknob.

    Framing it is also a great option.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional:

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 7-inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
