  • Canvas: A professionally color-printed botanical design measuring 4" x 6" on 14-count (14 holes to the inch) mono canvas with edges taped.
  • Threads: A generous quantity of lustrous Pepperpot Silk threads in Navy, Jalapeno, and Wisteria—use these as a single strand, just as they come. Super easy!
  • Needles: Two Bohin stainless steel size 22 needles

    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    Suitable for beginners with large areas to practice stitches and get the flow of needlepoint.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need a pair of 7-inch and a pair of 9-inch stretcher bars, and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
