    Product Details

Bring a mid-century modern vibe to your stitching—and your wall decor—with this charming avian pair. Clean lines and minimalist style meet vibrant threads and decorative stitches for a project that's as fun to stitch as it is to display.

    Design Size: 6.75" x 4.75"
    Canvas: 18-count, color-printed
Threads: Pepperpot Silk and Essentials Merino/Mohair blend, black cotton floss
Needles: Two Bohin stainless steel needles included
Extras: Access to a free, detailed stitch guide; a handy zippered project bag

Stretcher Bars: If you want to stitch on a frame order one pair of 8" and one pair of 10" plus some thumbtacks.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner and up.

Is there anything else I need aside from the kit?

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required. The following are optional and sometimes recommended:

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), see the stretcher bars section above.
    • Needle threaders are helpful for threading your needle but are non-essential.
    • A needle minder is a great tool to have if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
    • Consider purchasing a frame to display your masterpiece once it is stitched.

Perched in a stylized tree, these two colorful bluebirds are ready to add a splash of retro flair to your stitching time and home.
