Is This Kit Right For Me?

Intermediate-Experienced: We have used several decorative stitches on our model. If you want to stitch these, we recommend you have had previous experience with navigating stitch diagrams and decorative stitches

An 18-count canvas is the smallest needlepoint canvas. We have designs on larger mesh here.

What Else Do I Need?

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional:

  • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), order two pairs of 8 inch stretcher bars and some thumbtacks.
  • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
  • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
