This is an Intermediate level kit due to the lettering and small color areas. We have included how to needlepoint instructions for bold beginners who want to try it.

You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

• If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need a pair of 7-inch and a pair of 9-inch stretcher bars, and some thumbtacks.
• Needle threaders help thread your needle.
• A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
