What's in the Kit:

  • Canvas: An accurately color-printed 18 mesh canvas with 6" x 4" design. The edges are taped.
  • Premium Threads: Smooth Pepperpot Silk and Essentials wool/silk blend. These threads are easy to stitch with, and they have a subtle sheen. 
  • Needles: Two size 22 needles
  • Instructions: Beginner instructions are included. Decorative stitches were used on the model. The stitch guide is online here.
  • Project Bag: A handy zippered project bag to hold everything

    Is This Kit Right For Me?

    Suitable for Advanced-Beginner/Intermediate stitchers. We recommend that you have completed one or two easier projects first due to the detail in this kit that requires stitch placement decisions.

    Finishing Ideas

    Frame this in our beautiful oak frame. We also have black and white frame options.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need a pair of 7-inch and a pair of 9-inch stretcher bars, and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
