We suggest you stitch the detail first (all the Tent stitch areas in the model) and finish with the decorative stitches.
The surface embroidery on Christopher Robin and Pooh Bear is a Backstitch, applied at the end, over the underlying stitches.
Eeyore's mane is French knots.
Eeyore's tail is a few Brick stitches. This could also be French knots

Work this in rows like a darning stitch. The pattern repeat is over 3 then over 2. Note the pattern adjustment (moves one stitch) every four rows.
