    This is an intermediate-level kit due to the detail, small color areas, and decorative stitches.

    What Else Do I Need?

    You will need a pair of embroidery scissors suitable for snipping threads. We have several on-site. This is the only essential additional item required.

    The following are optional (see the Add-Ons below):

    • If you want to stitch with the canvas held taut on a frame (optional but recommended for ease of stitching), you will need a pair of 7-inch and a pair of 9-inch stretcher bars, or a 7" x 9" Steady Stitch frame, and some thumbtacks.
    • Needle threaders help thread your needle.
    • A needle minder is a great tool if you're using a frame because you always know where your needle is!
